The Equinox offers a time to remember that one plus one makes three.  As this 2016 Spring Equinox neared, I began to see the gift of this dualistic universe we have been living in for tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years.  This dualistic universe offered us the experience to witness and actually taste the consequences of our thought forms and correlating actions.

Through the karmic cycles of life and death, we have had the opportunity to experience all aspects of “otherness”.

Last year when I was leading a group of women to the Holy Isles of Albion, known in these times as Scotland, I became aware of the ley line which originates from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, across the Isle of Mull and through Castle Duart to the Holy Isle of Iona.  This line was known by the ancients as the Spear of Longinus (after the Roman soldier who pierce the side of Yeshua on the cross) or the Redemptive Ley.  I further discovered that my family clan, the McLean Clan was in guardianship of that Ley for many centuries.

I was also informed that that the energetic infrastructure of my September 2016 pilgrimage to the Scottish Isles, the Isles of Light, would be to shift this ley energetic from Redemptive to Regenerative.  The questions for me remained how would this happen and what does that really mean.  At the time I hadn’t yet realized that I held the codes to do just this and what that meant.  But that information and how it unfolded is for another post.

What I have remembered since last September and have been instructed to share with you at this time is that the Age of Redemption is coming to an end.  What does this mean?  It is through blood and genetic coding that the matrix of karma worked.  Through blood we returned life time after life time to experience the consequences of our thoughts and actions.  It has been a slow and irritative process.

We are now entering the Age of Grace and the way is moving from redemptive blood to blood-fire through the new Covenant of Grace; which is fueled by the Fire of Eros, also known as Love.  This shift moves us out of mandatory participation in karmic redemption cycles to the chamber of the Alchemical Marriage where we can hold the opposites in the void or still point and through the alchemical coitus of these opposites a third is born of an even higher frequency then the individuations within the pair.

I giggle at the remembrance of being in grade school and being taught arithmetic.  I was taught that one plus one makes two.  Even then, I remembered asking my teacher why it didn’t make three.  Although I began to record the answer as two on my test papers and homework, I never did believe it.

The Equinox is the cosmic reminder that has been with us from the beginning of this known universe to remind us of Grace and that there is a still point or void (often described as the bridal chamber) available to us to experience the Alchemical Marriage and move beyond karma through the Arc of Grace and have One Plus One BE Three.

The following practice can help you experience the alchemical quality of this void or still point.  I call it Entering the Void.

When you notice you are having a strong thought form, you know, one that makes your body and mind contract and tighten;  well this is a sign that you are confronting something you actually care about.  On the other side of the your current thought form is the polarity; which feels “wrong” and “bad”.  This is the right, wrong, good, bad paradox.  The truth is neither position is supporting where you are wanting to go.  Neither position will lead to the next evolutionary growth spurt of your unique self expression.

After you notice the mental or physical contraction, simply invite compassion into your being by just doing that.  Ask yourself, “What would it BE like to have more compassion in my body right now?”  This invites the Fire of Eros to enter your being. Close your eyes and witness your body’s natural response to relax and soften.  Follow this cue into the stillness and ask yourself, “What wants to emerge here?”  What emerges is the alchemical third.

There you have it one plus one makes three.
